What color palette do I use for CMYK?
I’m going to create some ads in Paint Shop for my business to be printed in the newspaper and they told me they needed to be in CMYK format. How do I do this in Paint Shop Pro?
Do I just use the Cyan/Magenta/Yellow/Black colors or can I use colors that derive from a combination of the four?
Or, should I just set my colors to 256 instead of 16/24 million?
I use an old version of Paint Shop Pro for my graphic designs…

CMYK is a color system usually used for printing. It doesn’t mean you have to use those exact colors. Your document and colors need to be formated to CMYK process. CMYK can make any color when mixed in different combinations. I really don’t know if you can do that in Paint Shop though.
Google CMYK and do a little research so you understand it better. If you are a graphic designer, you will need to know that.
