I'll admit, I've never been a big fan of the whole Star Wars craze; I never have been, nor will I ever be. Now granted, there are millions of people out there who love the two trilogies, but I am not one of them. That almost changed though when I encountered an album by the name of Bar Wars: Legends of the Ecclessia. What is Bar Wars? Simply put, it's a play on the George Lucas trilogies that has been flipped by some awesome Christian rap artists.

03.24.06 Peace and love to DJ D-Lite over at holycultureradio.com. For the past few weeks he's been using Bar Wars Tracks in his mixtape show, "3rd Coast Fiyah" Head on over there and click on the 3rd Coast Fiyah icon to support and listen to his mix and peep the playlist.
Also, check out sphereofhiphopmp3.com. Now only are both volumes available for download, but the entire project is featured on the current radio player set-up. Okay kids don't forget to say thank you plastic for hookin' that up.

12.26.05 Merry Christmas. This virtual update courtesy of Micro Fortuna. First off, the site has had a face lift. Please click "refresh" within the framework if you're not seeing everything in it's intergalactic glory. You may need to erase the cookies for this site if the frames aren't refreshing properly. Also, there is a new URL for easier linkage to spread the word about the Bar Wars Rebellion. It's www.barwarsproject.com.
As for the project itself, YSG-Kinobi has been putting in work, blessing vocals for two Pac0 Fett produced tracks, "Defending The Gift" and "A Track for the Clones". Chango Fett has already mixed down these two gems. If Empire Takes Back whet your appetite, then get ready to feast when the project drops. DJ Sean P-30 is in the process of laying down cuts for the upcoming tracks. That's all I can leak out about the new plans, perhaps in the weeks to come, more will be said.
